Genome-centric analysis of short and long read metagenomes reveals uncharacterized microbiome diversity in Southeast Asians

Abstract: Despite extensive efforts to address it, the vastness of uncharacterized "dark matter" microbial genetic diversity can impact short-read sequencing based metagenomic studies.
