Genipap (Genipa americana-Rubiaceae) is native to tropical America, occurring in Brazil in practically all biomes, except in the Pampas. It has socioeconomic importance, mainly due to the use of fruits in the manufacture of sweets and juices besides the medicinal properties of its leaves. We evaluated the genetic diversity of 73 individuals from 15 natural populations in the state of Sergipe using ISSR markers. The choice of areas was made randomly and genetic material was extracted from young leaves. PCR analysis using nine markers generated 113 fragments, which were used to estimate genetic diversity. The Shannon index was 0.36 and the similarity of individuals varied between 0.11 and 0.81. The individuals Salgado 3 (SAL3) and Salgado 4 (SAL4) were the most similar (0.81) and seven pairs had low similarity (0.11). The genetic distance the UPGMA analysis, which divided individuals into two distinct groups. The level of genetic variability found allows differentiation between genotypes that can be used to enrich the Genipap Active GermPlasm Bank in Sergipe, and the information generated will be useful for the conservation of these genetic resources and in future breeding programs for this species.

RESUMOO presente trabalho teve como princípio avaliar a cana-de-açúcar (Saccharum spp.) sob adubação organomineral com lodo de esgoto e bioestimulante. O experimento foi conduzido delineamento em blocos casualizados, com esquema fatorial 5x2+1, sendo cinco tratamentos com e sem biestimulante, mais um adicional (adubação mineral) com quatro repetições. As combinações dos tratamentos foram em função da recomendação de adubação de plantio de 470 kg ha -1 formulado 04-21-07 e cobertura de 400 kg ha -1 do 10-00-40 + 0,7% B aos 150 dias após plantio (DAP) e cobertura aos 90 dias após o corte (DAC) com base na análise de solo, consistindo: 100 % com fonte mineral; 0; 60; 80; 100 e 120 % (Com e Sem Bioestimulante) da fonte organomineral a base lodo de esgoto. Foram avaliados altura de plantas e diâmetro de colmo da safra 2017/2018. A fonte de fertilizante organomineral de lodo de esgoto não difere em relação ao fertilizante mineral. O bioestimulante e os percentuais de adubação não interfere na altura de plantas e diâmetro de colmos.

Genetic Diversity of Bertholletia excelsa Bonpl.: A Native Species of the Amazon Rainforest

In view of the economic and environmental importance of Bertholletia excelsa Bonpl. for the Amazon and the reducing natural habitat area of this species, the present study proposes to examine genetic variability among accessions of Brazil nut from the Amazon rainforest. Seventeen native Brazil nut genotypes were sampled from Sinop-MT and the genomic DNA were amplified using 15 inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) markers. The percent polymorphism and the polymorphism information content (PIC) of each primer were determined. The primers amplified 84.62% of the polymorphic bands and 15.38% of the monomorphic bands. The PIC for each primer ranged from 0 to 0.68. The Unweighted Pair Group Method with Arithmetic Mean (UPGMA) was the most efficient in group representation, as it showed the highest cophenetic correlation coefficient (CCC = 0.92), the lowest stress (12.31%) and the lowest distortion (1.51%). The use of ISSR markers was an efficient tool in the study of genetic diversity among Brazil nut genotypes, and the genetic diversity found can be used for conservation and pre-breeding programs for this crop.
