Objective: This study aimed to establish real prospects for teaching foreign languages, taking into account the features of Generations X, Y, and Z to enhance the quality of education. Methodology: The study employed a communicative approach to foreign language education and utilized qualitative research methods, including observation, analysis, and generalization, to examine the effectiveness of this methodology. Results: The study highlighted several learning approaches used to bring different generations into teams. It was revealed that the contemporary era of university students, living and developing in the age of digital technologies and tools, has specific emotional, psychological, and conditioning characteristics that necessitate the use of creative and innovative forms and methods of teaching foreign languages, and in the future, their introduction into the educational process. Discussion and Conclusions: Knowledge of the composition and content of such features largely determines the ability of teachers to comprehensively and purposefully explain the educational material to students. In turn, this will help students master a foreign language at a higher quality level, taking into account their professional exposure. The preceding predetermined the relevance of the research and worked correspondingly.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to analyze the money attitudes among students at English-language business schools in the transitioning Central Asian nations of the former USSR, namely, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Design/methodology/approach The survey was carried out in 2017, using previously established measures of Love of Money survey questionnaire. Over 300 undergraduate students in English-language business degree programs in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan participated in the survey. A few hypotheses were tested using three-way MANOVA to test the influence of three factors (country, gender and student years). In addition, post hoc analysis, and one- and two-way ANOVA methods were used for multiple comparisons. Findings The results showed evidence of increasing convergence among students who are farther along in the program. Some statistically significant differences were also found, mainly in regard to gender differences in money attitudes across countries and student levels. The results of statistical analysis suggest a need for further research on attitudes and values related to money in the modern nation states of Central Asia. Originality/value This study is one of first attempts to study the values and attitudes regarding money among the first generation of business students who were born and grew up after their respective countries gained independence. The findings imply the development of a relatively homogeneous labor pool for business organizations across regions that are characterized by increasing differentiation among countries within the region.

The value co-creation concept has become a marketing answer to today's challenges, the economy is facing. The field of higher education (HE) is experiencing the same pressure of outer factors as any other service industry. As a result, service providers (colleges and universities), as well as customers (students, graduates and employers) are dissatisfied with the quality of services and the level of generated value. The aim of this paper is to discuss how universities can use value co-creation concept to improve the situation. We consider social media to become engagement platforms for enabling value cocreation. Therefore, this paper discusses their current usage and perspectives for Ukrainian HE in creating mutual value. Top-five Ukrainian universities in the Webometrics rating are analyzed in terms of their SM activities on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. The value itself is considered a multi-dimensional category and the co-creation directions are analyzed in terms of the theory of consumption values (TCV) and from the perspective of two customer groups-students and employers. Recommendations include practical tools on engaging students and employers to the VCC process, grouped by the type of the value obtained.
