Generation of hydrogen containing gas on board a vehicle

Abstract: The strategy of improving the environmental quality of engines using hydrogen synthesis gas as means of chemical activation of workflow is discussed in the paper. The technologies for generating synthesis gas aboard a vehicle are also considered. The authors present the description of the experimental onboard system for producing hydrogen synthesis gas by thermochemical conversion of gasoline. The article contains the materials of its testing on a real car.
