Generalized form and duration of myasthenia gravis as predictors of cognitive impairment

Abstract: We performed a clinical, neurological, neuropsychological and laboratory examination of 30 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of myasthenia gravis, aged 25 to 69 years (49.0 ± 14.6 years), 11 men and 19 women. Among the examined patients, the generalized form of myasthenia was diagnosed in 20 (66.7%) patients: 4 (20.0%) cases of severe and 16 (80.0%) of moderate forms.
