Der Fragebogen zur Erfassung von Merkmalen interaktiver Arbeitstätigkeiten (FEMIA, Melzer, 2007 , 2011 ) wurde speziell zur bedingungsbezogenen Analyse, Bewertung und Gestaltung von Einzelhandelstätigkeiten entwickelt. Ziel der vorliegenden Untersuchung ist es, die Gütekriterien des Instrumentes zu überprüfen. Die Ergebnisse weisen auf eine insgesamt zufriedenstellende Reliabilität und Validität sowie gegebene Objektivität hin. Das Verfahren erfasst Anforderungen von waren- und interaktionsbezogenen Teiltätigkeiten und kann somit kundenferne monologische Arbeit im Falle der Selbstbedienung sowie bedienungs- und beratungsintensive Arbeit am Kunden abbilden. Durch die Anknüpfung an die in den internationalen Normen geforderten Merkmale gut gestalteter Aufgaben ( DIN EN ISO 6385 ) kann das Instrument künftig auch zur gesetzlich geforderten ganzheitlichen Gefährdungsbeurteilung eingesetzt werden. Der FEMIA kann im Sinne der Gefährdungsbeurteilung Hinweise auf Gestaltungserfordernisse geben.
