Abstract: T-bet-expressing Th17 (T-bet+RORγt+) cells are associated with the induction of pathology during experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) and the encephalitic nature of these Th17 cells can be explained by their ability to produce GM-CSF.
