ÖzBu araştırmanın amacı gastronomi ve mutfak sanatları bölümü lisans öğrencilerinin sektöre yönelik algılarının kariyer yapma niyetleri üzerindeki etkisini belirlemektir. Nicel araştırma deseninin kullanıldığı bu çalışmada veriler anket tekniği ile toplanmıştır. Anadolu Üniversitesi Gastronomi ve Mutfak Sanatları bölümünde eğitimlerine devam eden 152 öğrenci, araştırmanın örneklem grubunu oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin analizinde faktör, yüzde ve frekans, korelasyon, basit ve çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen sonuçlara göre, örneklem içerisinde yer alan öğrencilerin sektöre yönelik algılarının kariyer yapma niyetlerini pozitif yönde yönde etkilediği tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte öğrencilerin kariyer yapma niyetlerini en çok yetki devri ve motivasyon boyutunun etkilediği belirlenirken, kişi-sektör uyumu ve terfi olanakları, sosyal statü boyutları da diğer anlamlı etkilere sahip olan boyutlar arasındadır.

Araştırma MakalesiThe purpose of this study is to determine the effect of sectoral perceptions of undergraduate level gastronomy and culinary arts students on their career intentions. Quantitative research design was used in this study and the data were collected through survey method. The sample group of this study was 152 students from Anadolu University, Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts. Factor, percentage and frequency, correlation, simple and multiple linear regression analyses were used for data analysis. According to the results obtained within the scope of this study, it was observed that the sectoral perceptions of the students had a positive impact on their career intentions. While it was also observed that delegation of authority and motivation aspects affected the students' career intentions the most, individual-sector cohesion and promotion opportunities, and social status were among other aspects with significant impacts.
