Gas Separation Performance of SSZ-13 Zeolite Membranes on Different Supports

Abstract: Gas separation performance of SSZ-13 zeolite membranes on different supports was investigated in this work, and the membranes were applied to separate the equimolar CO 2 / CH 4 , CO 2 /N 2 , and N 2 /CH 4 mixtures. Influences of temperature, pressure, and support on the permeance of the SSZ-13 zeolite membrane were studied. The SSZ-13 membrane exhibited a large crystal size and a high Si/Al ratio with a homemade α-alumina support, and the Si/Al ratio of the SSZ-13 zeolites was up to 187 by acid treatment.
