Introduction – Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is a respiratory infection where the cause is a virus or bacteria that lasts for 14 days. One of the efforts to prevent ARI in infants is to provide exclusive breastfeeding, because breast milk contains elements of specific and non-specific immunity that can protect newborns from respiratory infections. Purpose – The aim of the study was to determine the effect of exclusive breastfeeding with the incidence of Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) in infants aged 7-24 months in the Community Health Center Ujung Pangkah Gresik. Methodology/Approach – The research design used was observational analytic with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all infants aged 7-24 months. The number of sample 60 babies taken with the sampling technique using purposive sampling method. The study used a questionnaire with a closed ended item type of questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis using Chi Square. Findings – The results showed that 33 respondents (55 percent) had ARI and 27 respondents (45 percent) did not. Respondents who did not give exclusive breastfeeding were 28 respondents (46.7 percent), giving exclusive breastfeeding were 32 respondents (53,3 percent). This shows that the proportion of children under five who are not exclusively breastfed and has ARI is higher than the proportion of infants who are exclusively breastfed and have ARI. The results of statistical calculations obtained p-value = 0.000 (p-value <0,05), so there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of ARI in toddlers at the Ujung Pangkah Health Center. Originality/ Value/ Implication – This research is the result of my own work and has never been published at all.

The background of the problem from this research is that parents do not understand about sexual education besides that they still think that sexual education is taboo to be given to children. So that the child cannot yet distinguish which body parts are allowed to be touched and which are not to be touched by the opposite gender. This study aims to see how many parents agree about providing sexual education to their children. This study uses a survey method with a quantitative approach. Sampling used in this study using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique with the criteria of parents who have children aged 5-6 years. The research sample was 50 parents who had children aged 5-6 years. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire. While the analysis of research data in the form of descriptive quantitative. The result of this research is that there are 40 parents with a percentage of 80% of the opinion that the importance of sexual education is given to children, while 10 respondents with a percentage of 20% think that sex education is not important to children.Keywords: : parents, sexual education, early childhood AbstrakLatar belakang masalah dari penelitian ini bahwa orangtua belum memahami tentang pendidikan seksual selain itu masih mengganggap bahwa pendidikan seksual tabu untuk diberikan kepada anak. Sehingga anak belum bisa membedakan bagian tubuh mana yang boleh disentuh dan tidak boleh disentuh oleh lawan jensinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat berapa banyak orangtua yang setuju tentang pemberian pendidikan seksual kepada anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitaif. Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan non probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria orangtua yang memiliki anak usia 5-6 tahun. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 50 orangtua yang memiliki anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner. Sedangkan analisis data penelitian berupa deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat 40 orangtua dengan presentase 80 % berpendapat bahwa pentingnya pendidikan seksual diberikan kepada anak sedangkan 10 responden dengan presentase 20% berpendapat bahwa pendidikan seksual tidak penting diberikan kepada anak. Transgender is a group with a high risk of HIV AIDS transmission due to the large number of base areas for transgender to conduct sexual transactions with sex partners. Changing behavior among transgender sex workers is still complicated because of the low use of condoms among transgender women. The study aimed to analyze the relationship between perceptions of vulnerability to contracting HIV with the consistency of using condoms among transgender sex workers to prevent HIV AIDS in the city of Makassar. This type of research was mixed methods research with a quantitative and qualitative approach using a sequential explanatory design (combination model). The quantitative data collection technique used a cross-sectional research design. The qualitative data used in-depth interviews with a research design using case studies to strengthen the quantitative results obtained from HIV-positive transgender sex workers. The number of respondents in this study was 60 people. The results showed a relationship between perceived vulnerability to contracting HIV and the consistency of condom use among transgender sex workers. Islam explicitly states that homosexual and lesbian behavior is a form of deviant sexual behavior contrary to human nature. Sex in Islam is not just to satisfy lust but has an important goal regarding the continuity of life, namely continuing offspring/ reproduction so that same-sex relations are unlikely to produce offspring, so this is not in line with the purpose of sex in Islam.
