Fuzzy based Data Fusion for Energy Efficient Internet of Things

Abstract: Internet of Things will serve communities across the different domains of life. The resource of embedded devices and objects working under IoT implementation are constrained in wireless networks. Thus, building a scheme to make full use of energy is key issue for such networks. To achieve energy efficiency, an effective Fuzzy-based network data Fusion Light Weight Protocol (FLWP) is proposed in this article. The innovations of FLWP are as follows: 1) the simulated network's data fusion through fuzzy controller… Show more

“…Also, to achieve energy efficiency in the IoT environment, an effective fuzzy‐based network data fusion lightweight protocol has been proposed by Agarwal et al 70 The protocol is based on a modified version of the AODV protocol (AOMDV). During the discovery phase of the AOMDV protocol, multiple paths are discovered and the path‐list is buffered at the node.…”

“…It achieves not able performance by means of reliability and by avoiding the packet retransmission. However, C-RPL packet loss occurs, as it takes more time to select the cluster parent.Madan Mohan Agarwal et al [25] proposed a fuzzy-based data fusion technique for IoT (FLWP). FLWP is proposed to maximize the lifespan of the network.…”
