This research is intended to improve the performance of oil palm fertilization by examining the fertilizer procurement process. The research design that will be carried out in this study is based on the problems studied using descriptive analysis methods. Measurement of priority risk using FMEA and formulation of mitigation strategies using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) by collecting data through observation, questionnaires with stakeholders who have expertise in their respective fields at the research site. One of the plantation crops that are widely cultivated by large plantation companies is oil palm. The moratorium on oil palm plantation permits for the addition of new land for 3 years encourages companies to increase crop productivity on existing plantation lands, one of which is fertilization. Constraints experienced in fertilizing on mature plants are the incompatibility of the fertilizer applied to the planned one. So that the increase in fertilization performance can be done through improvements in the procurement process. The purpose of this research is to study the risk priorities in the planning process to the acceptance of fertilizers in the procurement of fertilizers. The results showed that the priority risk of fertilizer procurement planning is that the budget availability is not in accordance with the recommendations (RPN 27), the supplier selection process is the announcement of the old tender (RPN 18), the dropping/delivery process is a late contract signed (RPN 18), the acceptance process is that the fertilizer is accepted. past the time period (RPN 18). The criteria are fertilizer procurement planning, supplier selection, fertilizer delivery and fertilizer receipts with successive values of 0.575, 0.214, 0.134, 0.077. The alternatives are ensuring budget adequacy, adding fertilizer suppliers, improving communication between fertilizer providers and users, determining the timing of fertilizer application, increasing the frequency of fertilizer quality inspections and using information technology in fertilization. Improving the performance of fertilizer procurement can be done with three main strategies, namely improving the budgeting system, improving procurement documents, selecting suppliers with a multi-winner system.

Purpose This paper aims to enable the analysts of reliability and safety system to assess the criticality and prioritize failure modes perfectly to prefer actions for controlling the risks of undesirable scenarios. Design/methodology/approach To resolve the challenge of uncertainty and ambiguous related to the parameters, frequency, non-detection and severity considered in the traditional approach failure mode effect and criticality analysis (FMECA) for risk evaluation, the authors used fuzzy logic where these parameters are shown as members of a fuzzy set, which fuzzified by using appropriate membership functions. The adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system process is suggested as a dynamic, intelligently chosen model to ameliorate and validate the results obtained by the fuzzy inference system and effectively predict the criticality evaluation of failure modes. A new hybrid model is proposed that combines the grey relational approach and fuzzy analytic hierarchy process to improve the exploitation of the FMECA conventional method. Findings This research project aims to reflect the real case study of the gas turbine system. Using this analysis allows evaluating the criticality effectively and provides an alternate prioritizing to that obtained by the conventional method. The obtained results show that the integration of two multi-criteria decision methods and incorporating their results enable to instill confidence in decision-makers regarding the criticality prioritizations of failure modes and the shortcoming concerning the lack of established rules of inference system which necessitate a lot of experience and shows the weightage or importance to the three parameters severity, detection and frequency, which are considered to have equal importance in the traditional method. Originality/value This paper is providing encouraging results regarding the risk evaluation and prioritizing failures mode and decision-makers guidance to refine the relevance of decision-making to reduce the probability of occurrence and the severity of the undesirable scenarios with handling different forms of ambiguity, uncertainty and divergent judgments of experts.

Aiming at the risk assessment requirements of typical industrial control systems with integrated architecture of security and safety, we propose an objective and quantitative integrated security and safety assessment scheme based on Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP). First, we establish a safety and security integrated architecture for typical industrial control systems with security measures integrated into safety failure modes. On this basis, we establish a hierarchical model of risk assessment with safety and security integrated (SSI) failure mode as an element of the evaluation layer, and then standardize characteristic values of various safety-related heterogeneous index parameters. We design an entropy weight method that uses Grey Relation Analysis(GRA) method to modify the correlation of multiple indicators as a parameter strategy for determining the relative importance of element layer and evaluation layer and then use the membership function method of fuzzy statistical method to obtain the membership degree of hierarchical elements, and finally obtain the failure risk level value of equipment and system by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. Based on a typical distributed control system, we build an experimental platform to test and verify the risk assessment plan, and compared with expert experience parameter method. The result shows that the scheme takes into account the correlation between indicators which measure the SSI risk level of industrial control system，and the entropy weight method is used to evaluate the risk of industrial control system which can overcome the subjectivity and uncertainty of individual judgment. Furthermore, the quantitative evaluation of system risk is completed by using fuzzy statistical method in the case of industrial control system without prior knowledge, and the idea of this scheme has a wide range of engineering value.
