“…As a polar polymer, PVA has been modified by LDHs to promote the thermal, morphological and mechanical properties via the interaction between the PVA and the LDHs by hydrogen bonding through hydroxyl groups [10][11][12]. PVA also showed good compatibility with ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (NH 4 H 2 PO 4 , ADP) [13] and synergistic flame retardancy with ammonium polyphosphate (APP)/LDHs [14].
