Functional Magnetic Composites Based on Hexaferrites: Correlation of the Composition, Magnetic and High-Frequency Properties

Abstract: The paper describes preparation features of functional composites based on ferrites, such as “Ba(Fe1−xGax)12O19/epoxy,” and the results of studying their systems; namely, the correlation between structure, magnetic properties and electromagnetic absorption characteristics. We demonstrated the strong mutual influence of the chemical compositions of magnetic fillers (Ba(Fe1−xGax)12O19 0.01 < x < 0.1 solid solutions), and the main magnetic (coercivity, magnetization, anisotropy field and the first anisotrop… Show more

“…Materials in nanoform are very important at the moment, because they can have electronic properties that are more attractive than their bulk counterparts. Lately, many works have been devoted to obtaining and studying the properties of ferrites in nanoform [10][11][12][13][14]. In addition, magnetic materials are also of interest in nanoscale magnetic phase separation.…”

“…As the demand for information technology and electronic equipment continues to rise, the utilization of high-performance broad-band microwave absorbing materials (MAM) becomes more critical in decreasing or even eliminating electromagnetic (EM) pollution, which impacts human health and disrupts electronic equipment functioning [1][2][3][4]. Microwave energy dissipates when an EM wave interacts with an MAM, which then converts this energy into another one (e.g., thermal) through its own electric and magnetic losses.…”

“…Nonetheless, the principal focus is on enhancing the dielectric and magnetic properties. Within the recent past, however, the developments of the three-phase dielectric, dielectric and magnetic polymer polymers offer further choices on the design and expansion of the material application, like those utilized within the sensors and inductor capacitors [33][34][35][36][37][38].The weather-shed of out of doors insulators and cable terminators is typically employed by polymeric insulation materials like epoxy and polyethene. Additionally, to their other uses in modern technology, epoxy resins are commonly used as suitable matrices, as they supply flexibility, low shrinking, additives, high dielectric properties, and excellent adhesion.…”
