Abstract: Neonatal splenectomy and congenital absence of the spleen were shown to be associated with lack of primary IgM antibody synthesis, deficient bone marrow-thymus cell synergism. altered mitogen responsiveness and depressed homing patterns of thymocytes to the spleen.
