Abstract:The use of the radio controlled network system in industrial tasks is a real fact. The new medium, according to its nature and characteristics improves new possibilities in the data transfer. The paper illuminates some basic problems concerning the wireless communication systems. Wireless network used in office is much cheaper than industrial-type devices. Using of office-type WiFi communication in industrial environment for exchange data between mobile platform (AGV) and base station is the core of this paper. The scope of research is data limitation flow in function of distance between system nodes and usability of office-type (low cost) equipment for establishes stable communication on industrial environment. Paper describes two experiments in two types of production environment. First one was realized in condition where several disturbance sources were active (like metal forming machine-tools, constant energy welding machines, electric overhead crane, high power electric motors, electronic inverters etc. All this machines contaminate radio environment around them and make serious obstacles for WiFi data exchange. Second experiment was executed in assembling hall of automobile production plant in which radio contamination is significantly lower.

Powszechna w przemyśle tendencja związana z wykorzystywaniem w obszarze automatyki przemysłowej (do sterowania i nadzoru) systemów rozproszonych wymusza konstruowanie rozwiązań autonomicznych i charakteryzujących się rozbudowanymi możliwościami komunikacyjnymi. Należy się więc zgodzić z twierdzeniem, że obecnie komunikacja stanowi podstawę współczesnego wytwarzania. Coraz bardziej zaawansowane czujniki wykorzystywane do monitorowania maszyny i procesu pozwalają na bardzo precyzyjne opisywanie zachodzących zjawisk. Surowe dane oraz wyniki analiz powinny być dostępne także dla systemów nadzorczych i zarządzających produkcją. Korzystne jest zastosowanie jednorodnego środowiska ułatwiającego wymianę informacji, a także standaryzującego sam proces komunikowania się różnorakich urządzeń (kart, sterowników, PLC, CNC). Artykuł omawia koncepcję zastosowania otwartego standardu OPC (OLE for process control) do udostępniania danych pomiarowych z procesu i obrabiarki. Prezentuje wykonaną instalację, przeprowadzone badania i uzyskane rezultaty. Przewidywana implementacja tego rozwiązania w warunkach rzeczywistych jest interesującą propozycją dla przemysłu.

USE OF THE OPC TECHNOLOGY FOR DISCLOSURE OF MEASUREMENT DATA FROM A PROCESS AND A MACHINE TOOL
AbstractThe continuous monitoring of process and machine tools is, in fact, the important measure to achieve really good products and reduce the possibility of difficulty in modern production. Referring to the very popular idea of distributed control systems the effective communication between different nodes should be established. All generated data and computation results should be shared to the supervision of shop floor control system and company MRP. It is beneficial to use homogeneous, effective communication environment which could facilitate the data interchange process and standardize it for different nodes (μP, PLC, CNC). This paper presents conception of the open standard OPC applying for data presentation coming from sensors and machine tools. It briefly illuminates the working installation, research work and results. The predicted implementation will be useful and interested for industry.
