Fruit Waste Management

Abstract

Vegetal resources, which includes also different types of wastes, as a result of vegetal raw materials processing, means tireless intern stocks. The responsibility of waste management represents a challenge which many industries are facing. By an efficient treatment of wastes we can obtain a profit for companies, in agreement with sustainable development principles, and according to the environmental protection. The paper approaches the private aspects of fruit waste management, in Romania, a country within transition to the marketplace economy.
