Four Projections CMOS Linear Image Sensor Tomographic Image Reconstruction

Abstract: This study focused on developing software for image reconstruction system of optical image data obtained from four projections of CMOS linear image sensors by using MATLAB. Four projections of collimated light beams at least must be used in order to avoid aliasing and smear effect that may be appeared on the reconstructed image obtained. The image reconstruction is based on linear back-projection method where transpose matrix, and pseudo-inverse matrix are used to solve inverse matrix problems in MATLAB. Resul… Show more

“…Improving air quality on green roofs involves the absorption of chemical pollutants, leading to a decrease in sulfur dioxide (SO2), ammonia (NH3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ozone (O3), and carbon monoxide (CO) levels [20]. Green roofs reduce temperature, pH, sulfate, and ammonia, enhancing air quality [21].…”

“…Natural coumarins (Figure 1) are classified into several types depending on their chemical diversity and complexity: simple coumarins (1), furanocoumarins (2), pyranocoumarins (3), biscoumarins (4), and additional coumarins such as phenylcoumarins (5) [22][23][24]. Coumarins 1 (2H-chromen-2-one or 2H-1-benzopyran-2-one), secondary metabolites that belong to the family of benzopyrones, are found in a variety of plant parts, such as roots, seeds, nuts, flowers, and fruit [25,26].…”

It has been established that compounds possessing a coumarin moiety have exhibited a variety of intriguing and exciting activities due to their varying pharmacological properties, such as anti-bacterial activity [4,24,25], anti-cancer [4,25,26], anti-coagulant [4,27], anti-oxidant [28], anti-fungal [4,[29][30][31], anti-tubercular [4,32,33] and most importantly for this research, anti-viral and anti-HIV activity [4,34,35].…”

“…In a study conducted in 2013, four classifiers namely SVM, probabilistic neural network (PNN), radial basis function (RBF) and multi-layer perceptron (MLP) were compared and it is proven that SVM is superior to other methods with the accuracy of 99.06% [24]. In addition, in a study conducted in 2013, by also implementing an SVM classifier with the integration of Gaussian kernel, authors obtained an accuracy of 94% [8].…”
