“…For the sintering temperatures from 300 to 700 °C, there was an increase in the intensity of the (0k0), such as (020), (040), (060), and (0100), and there was a substantial decrease in the intensity of the (021) face, indicating the effect of sintering at the various temperatures on crystal growth, as shown in Figure 3b. The results were same as those reported by Song et al [41]. …”

“…The lower energy peaks were associated with the lower oxidation state of the Mo 6+ ions, which tends to result in lower binding energies, as stated previously [47]. For the two peaks of the powder that was sintered at 300 °C for 1 h, the binding energies of the Mo 3d 5/2 peak and the 3d 3/2 peak were shifted to 233.65 eV and 236.92 eV, respectively, which was attributed to the higher oxidation state of Mo 6+ [41]. For sintering temperatures from 500 to 700 °C, the binding energies of the Mo 3d 5/2 and the 3d 3/2 peaks were almost same as those for a sintering temperature of 300 °C.…”

It is probably attributed to the strong structural induction effect of layered PI during the growth process of α-MoO 3 crystals.…”

“…The PL spectra of 3 wt%, 5 wt% and 7 wt% doped samples encompass a new green emission band centered at around 507 nm in the visible region, which confirmed the non-stoichiometry of the samples. Moreover, the green emission band of 5 wt% doped sample is more obvious, it render MoO 3 more oxygen vacancies [24]. In addition, from Fig.…”
