Forensics and Mitochondrial DNA: Applications, Debates, and Foundations

Abstract: Debate on the validity and reliability of scientific methods often arises in the courtroom. When the government (i.e., the prosecution) is the proponent of evidence, the defense is obliged to challenge its admissibility.
