Abstract:One hundred and fifty-five consecutive previously untreated adult patients with supradiaphragmatic pathologic stage IA (71) and IIA (84) Hodgkin's disease treated only with radiotherapy (RT) at the Istituto Nazionale Tumori of Milano from 1970 to 1978 were reviewed. Staging procedures included lymphangiography and laparotomy in all cases. Most patients were irradiated with a conventional cobalt machine.
