Flow Pattern and Mixing Performance of a Dynamic Impinging Stream Reactor

Abstract: The mixing process of a dynamic impinging stream reactor was measured by planar laser induced fluorescence. The fluid flow pattern and mixing characteristics were studied under different conditions. The flow field was divided into the following regions by flow pattern: free jet region, impingement region, radial jet region, and radial vortex region.
