“…glutinosa [33]. Liang et al [34] isolated sakuranetin from methanolic extract of powdered stem bark of Daphne aurantiaca, the common evergreen shrub native to Yunnan, and Sichuan provinces in China. As a result of the extraction of 6.5 kg of the powder and the subsequent chromatographic purification, 50 mg of pure sakuranetin was isolated.…”

“…IC 50 values were calculated as the concentration (μg/mL) of samples causing 50% inhibition of cell viability. H NMR spectra data of 1 (Table 1) were very similar to those of daphnotin B, 16 except for appearance of an additional methylene at δ C 30.7 (C-8'') instead of an oxygenated methine, together with appearance of an additional methyl group (δ C 8.6, δ H 2.05), and a singlet aromatic proton δ H 6.62 (1H, s) in 1. In the HMBC spectrum, corrections from the singlet aromatic proton H-5 (δ H 6.62) to C-4 (δ C 33.8), C-9'' (δ C 25.7), and C-7 (153.3), and from the methyl singal at δ H 2.03 to C-7 (δ C 153.3), C-8 (δ C 113.0), and C-8a (δ C 152.0) indicated that the methyl group was located at C-8 and the singlet aromatic proton was assigned to C-5.…”

“…Mostly, drugs act on this enzyme preferentially [144]. In another invention the therapeutic compounds like oleanolic acid (28), dihydromyricetin, epigallocatechin gallate, myricetin [145,146] and epiafzelechin [147] have been extracted from the wood of plant Xanthoceras sorbifolia has been prooved for the treatment of AIDS [57,145].…”
