“…In recent years, with ratoon planting of sugarcane, a large number of pathogens that cause sugarcane root rot accumulate in plants or in the soil year by year, resulting in the imbalance of soil microbial community, which seriously restricts the development of the sugarcane industry (Pang et al, 2021;Ren et al, 2021). Among them, sugarcane root rot caused by Fusarium commune (Wang et al, 2018) occurs seriously in the chewing cane producing areas in Guangdong Province, China (Supplementary Figure S1A).
