Abstract:Two dimensional time averaged, steady incompressible, adiabatic turbulent asymmetric near and far non-periodic and periodic wake flow problems are solved by Galerkin Finite Element Method. A primitive-variables formulation is adopted using Reynolds-averaged momentum equations, with standard k-ε turbulence model. Finite element equations are solved by Newton-Raphson technique with relaxation, using frontal solver. Periodic boundary condition is specified on the periodic lines of the cascade, and asymptotic boun… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
