Fine mapping and identification of SmAPRR2 regulating rind color in eggplant (Solanum melongena L.)

Abstract: Rind color is an economically important agronomic trait in eggplant that impacts consumer preferences. However, the gene(s) regulating eggplant rind color have not been characterized.
