This article presents a retrospective analysis relating to the main performance indicators of the Kosovo Central District Hospital (CDH). The author's method of calculating the efficiency of the hospital on the components of medical, social and economic efficiency is proposed. The reason for the low level of efficiency of the Kosovo CDH is substantiated and ways to increase the efficiency are suggested. The aim of this article is to conduct a retrospective analysis of the effectiveness of the Kosiv Central District Hospital to identify the main problems of local hospitals and to formulate scientifically sound proposals for improving the medical system in the newly formed united territorial communities. Research methods. In the article were used general scientific research methods: Analysis and synthesis, in the study of scientific literature and determining the effectiveness of the Kosiv CDH; Economic and statistical analysis and comparison, when calculating indicators of medical, social and economic efficiency of the Kosiv CDH, Generalization - when developing recommendations for improving the efficiency of the Kosiv CDH. Results: The author's method of calculating indicators for assessing the medical, social, and economic efficiency of the Kosiv CDH was developed. A retrospective analysis of the effectiveness of the Kosiv CDH was conducted, which allowed us to state the low level of efficiency, which was formed under the influence of factors independent of the hospital itself. The necessity of introduction of paid medical services and their realization by the Kosiv CDH, development of public-private partnership and the mechanism of acquisition of the diagnostic car for realization of programs on complex diagnostics of health of the population of the Kosiv city united territorial community are substantiated. Conclusions. A retrospective analysis of the effectiveness of the Kosiv CDH in 2014-2018 allowed us to conclude that the level of such efficiency is quite low. However, the low level of efficiency of the Kosiv CDH is due to the existing principles of medical development in Ukraine, which is, “de jure” based on the concept of free medical care

Financial sustainability has been a significant goal across all sectors recently. It is also imperative to set financial sustainability as an objective to sustain operations in private hospitals that are pivotal within Türkiye’s health system. Literature highlights that the hospitals deliver services amidst significant financial challenges. The purpose of this study is to explore the internal factors related to financial sustainability performance in private hospitals, analyze the relationships between them, and develop recommendations based on the analysis. A quantitative, cross-sectional approach was employed in the research, utilizing a questionnaire to collect data. Seventy participants working in the administrative and financial departments of private hospitals from different cities were included. The data were analyzed by structural equation modeling. The study identified cost management practices, logistic performance, and marketing efforts as variables potentially related to financial sustainability performance. Correlation analysis indicated a significant, positive relationship between the variables and financial sustainability performance. Path analysis revealed that marketing efforts had the most significant impact on financial sustainability performance followed by cost management. Logistic performance had no significant influence within the model. The number of studies on healthcare sector considering financial sustainability and its’ possible determinants is highly limited. This study provides practical implications by examining this phenomenon with its’ potential internal determinants.

This paper studies the issue of financing the Space Industry at the State Level in the Postwar period as part of the country’s recovery plan, as one of the foremost critical zones of technological development and to ensure space security and defence. The European Space Agency (ESA) is, identified as the main player in the European space sector. It is determined that the current structure of ESA – Space 4.0 – provides for the success of European space activities in close coordination with the needs of European societies and economies. Despite all the prospects, offered by the Space Industry, a number of barriers can hinder full participation in the space economy. These ‘barriers’ include the requirement of large capital investments, technological risk and longer development times. Public-private partnerships have been, identified, as an effective way to overcome these barriers, so the government should play an important role in promoting innovation through the space sector. The war in Ukraine, which began on February 24, 2022, once again, reminds us of the unique value, and critical use of outer space for security and defence purposes. From intelligence gathering and monitoring to the availability of communications. It is determined that the war already has serious consequences for the European space sector. The Space Industry of Ukraine is a critical component of the national economy of Ukraine because it is the motor of numerous imaginative changes in other segments of the economy and contributes to the improvement of social, political, financial and natural circles of society. In Ukraine, there's an incessant disappointment in the State to fulfil its commitments to the ventures in the Space Industry. In the conditions of full-scale, ‘war’ the Space Industry is a key element of national security and defence of Ukraine. The financing of the Space Industry at the State level in the post-war period is crucial as part of the country’s recovery plan.
