Filler Migration and Florid Granulomatous Reaction to Hyaluronic Acid Mimicking a Buccal Tumor

Abstract: Hyaluronic acid is among the most commonly used cosmetic fillers. Although considered biocompatible and safe, it may rarely cause a wide range of complications. The authors report a case of migration of hyaluronic acid concomitant with granulomatous inflammatory response that mimicked a buccal tumor.
