RezumatAlopecia androgenică reprezintă cea mai frecventă formă de cădere a părului, în care căderea părului se realizează progresiv, putând afecta toate rasele. Pe lângă impactul psihologic major şi afectarea calităţii vieţii, pacienţii cu alopecie androgenică precoce pot suferi ulterior de boli coronariene severe şi sindrom metabolic. Alopecia androgenică este o afecţiune dermatologică multifactorială, cu o moştenire genetică complexă. Tratamentul reprezintă o provocare atât pentru medic, cât şi pentru pacient.
