Female paraurethral leiomyoma: a case report

Abstract: Background Leiomyoma is a benign fibromuscular neoplasm originating from smooth muscle cells. Paraurethral leiomyoma is an extremely rare, benign, hormone-dependent growth from the mesenchymal cells in paraurethral space of female urethra.
