Background. Various authors have analyzed factors determining the appearance of anorexia nervosa and did not reach a consensus. The article presents the results and our opinion that deep psychological problems of individual are the cornerstone of the development of anorexia nervosa. Objectives. To study the psychological profile of female students with a tendency to anorexia nervosa. Material and methods. 118 young females aged 16-22 with eating disorders, all citizens of Krasnoyarsk, were examined. According to body mass index (BMI), two groups were formed: group A (78 females with normal BMI), group B (40 females with low BMI < 18 kg/m 2 ). The emotional state was determined by the Cattell's 16 PF and EPQ questionnaires. Participants signed informed consent. Results. Cattell's questionnaire: general individual and typological qualities of all students were revealed. Descriptors of a low range prevailed in group B. Extroversion was significantly lower in group B than in group A (p < 0.001). Emotional lability was significantly higher in group B than in group A (p = 0.04). EPQ questionnaire: in a comparison between group А and group В, the introversive type among females with BMI < 18 kg/m 2 was registered more often (p < 0.001); emotional instability was higher (p < 0.001); and psychoticism was rated as p = 0.01. Conclusions. The concept about the existence of options of individual and typological qualities of a person with various BMI was confirmed. A distinctive feature of females with a tendency to anorexia nervosa is an increased frequency of occurrence of the introversive type of personality in combination with a growth of the level of emotional instability and psychoticism and forms neurotic personality traits.

This article presents results of research about psychophysiological adaptation of children who migrated from the northern to the southern regions of Siberia. The purpose of this study was to create measures that can be used to promote health among migrants. Material and methods. We examined 157 children between the ages of 11-16. roughly half (n=74) were child migrants, and the remainder (n=83) were children who lived constantly in region of southern Siberia. Psychophysiological adaptation was assessed by methods of Eysenck, rogov, Belokon and Kuberger. Results. Assessment of parameters allowed us to reveal multidirectional results in groups of children. The questionnaire developed by Eysenck showed the predominance of the extroverted type of personality among patients, but emotional instability was more often recorded among child migrants (p=0.0007). Child migrants took significantly longer to complete psychological tests, including tests of attention (p=0.0042) and verbal logical thinking (p<0.001). Vegetative homeostasis was characterized by a higher level of sympathetic tonic initial vegetative tone (p=0.0172), hyper sympathetic tonic variant of vegetative reactivity (p=0.0377), and an altered type of hemodynamic reaction to the clinoorthostatic test (50% of cases). Conclusions. The high frequency of emotional instability, slower speed of logical thinking possesses, and sympathetic tonic orientation of vegetative homeostasis parameters are distinctive features of child migrants. Children with deviations in psychophysiological parameters are at high risk of developing psychosomatic pathology. Therefore, preventive measures are necessary to help promote health among child migrants.

Background. The progressive increase of the number of schoolchildren with adaptation disorders and low level of health in recent years determines the need to assess the characteristics of the psychosomatic status in children and adolescents with various types of somatic pathology, including diseases of ENT organs, accompanied by nasal breathing disorders and hypoxia. It is also necessary to determine the severity of stress in children, for timely prevention and correction of these disorders.Aim:to assess the level of stress in schoolchildren with nasal breathing disorders against the background of nasal diseases and concomitant psychosomatic disorders.Materials and methods. 481 schoolchildren aged 12–17 (boys and girls) were examined. Nasal breathing disorders were assessed by a comprehensive ENT examination, including rhinoscopy, radiography of the sinuses, and olfactometry. The presence and severity of stress were determined by the questionnaire “Social factors and stress”.Results. We found that the high level of stress in children with nasal breathing disorders on the background of ENT pathology is more often associated with the high frequency and severity of psychosomatic symptoms: the presence of dorsalgia, asthenic syndrome, chronic headache and frequent episodes of abdominal pain. Moderately and significantly increased levels of stress associated with the presence of children with hypertension, asthenic syndrome, frequent abdominal pain, frequent pain in the cervical spine, panic disorders.Conclusions. Thus, the presence of certain psychosomatic complaints in children with nasal breathing disorders is directly related to the level of stress, which is important to take into account when planning preventive and corrective measures aimed at increasing the adaptive capacity and stress resistance of children. The studies illustrate the need to assess the psychosomatic status and the level of stress in schoolchildren with nasal breathing disorders taking into account their existing comorbid disorders of the psychosomatic spectrum.
