The aim of the study is to use the methods of economic and mathematical modeling to assess food security. The article presents a methodological approach to the food security assessment, which enables one to determine a comprehensive indicator, i.e. food security index (I fs ). According to statistical data on the regions of the Southern Federal District, food security was assessed, it was found that in 2017 food security index was equal to 8 points, which corresponded to permissible level. The deviation from optimal level was due to a significant degree of income differentiation in the region and nonoptimal structure of the consumer basket. Theoretical relevance of developing a methodology and economic-mathematical model for assessing food security based on calculation of a complex multifactorial indicator is associated with the need to develop existing methodological approaches to assessing food security at macroeconomic level, with the analysis of systematic groups of factors affecting food security, as well as relevance of monitoring and evaluation of food security. The practical relevance of the presented approach to assessment of food security involves the possibility of using data obtained in the planning and development of agricultural policy, in order to improve its socioeconomic and financial efficiency in the field of food security in the regions of Russia.

In the current time period in front of commercial banks in Russia arises a need to improve the quality of banking management as a special sphere of credit institution management. The main drawbacks of banking management in Russia formulated by the authors are justified by logically built factors. In order to make adequate decisions in the banking segment of the financial market, it is proposed to study the process of transformation of banking management in Russia. The authors identify six stages of transformation of banking management in Russia: 1) deposit and loan stage, 2) investment and speculative stage, 3) marketing stage, 4) stage of socioeconomic management, 5) risk management stage, 6) information and digital stage. All stages are allocated on the basis of research of formation and development of banking business of Russia in the conditions of market economy. Digital transformation in Russian banking practice poses significant challenges to existing business models. It is concluded that the sixth stage of bank management transformation requires not only financial investments, but also readiness for changes at the level of established processes, thinking and internal culture. The article is devoted to the analysis of possible solutions to traffic congestion, which have become an integral part of the modern space of the cities and regions population vital activity, especially near houses and shopping complexes. It is impossible to characterize the modern transport system without mentioning errors when planning the organization of traffic, as well as in the design and construction of transport hubs. Attempts to solve the problem of traffic congestion have been made repeatedly in various countries of the world, but all of them were of a differentiated nature and national specificity. Many researchers believe that in order to level transport problems, it is necessary to build new road junctions and separate traffic flows. However, according to the authors, the most suitable, in particular, for our country, can be a comprehensive approach to solving these problems. This approach involves the creation of a parametric model of forming an indicators system for assessing the operational state of road interchanges in the living environment formation conditions. This system allows taking into account the integral impact of technological, economic, environmental and social factors that affect the efficiency of transport interchanges.
