Features of optical image jitter in a random medium with a finite outer scale

Abstract: During a period of more than 30 years we have performed successively investigations of the effect of low-frequency spectral range of atmospheric turbulence on the optical characteristics. The influence of the turbulence models as well as a outer scale of turbulence on the characteristics of telescopes and systems of laser beam formations has been determined too. This question is important in, for example, problems of ground-based astronomy.
