The need to develop a competences model of competitive process engineer is due to the fact that his professional career is multifaceted and there are quite a lot of specializations, professional success in which is determined by the competitiveness of the individual engineer. In this regard, this article aims at developing a competences model of competitive process engineer. The model presented in the paper reflects the technological University students' individual personality traits which are more significant in their future professional activity, as well as individual targets in self-development of students' competitiveness -future engineers, that is especially important in the context of opportunities identifying for the forms and methods improving to design the individual self-development programs of students' competitiveness. The article also reveals persistently recurring seven types of individual self-development of students' competitiveness in their design and creative activity: heuristic, research, technology, practice-oriented, social, communicative and mixed types. The material of this paper are both of theoretical and practical value for scientific and methodological divisions in the development of programs for increasing the competitiveness of universities, as well as for faculty in courses of lectures developing for students of engineering specialties.

Introduction: Academic performance of learners is challenging as MBBS students' performance is a result of socio-economic, psychological and environmental factors. Socially secured education systems are growing as a profitable industry with prime goal to produce high quality education which delivers well-educated and skillful students, because institutions are valueless without quality of students. Objective: This study was carried out to find out students’ views on social security system for them in conveniently selected medical colleges of Bangladesh. Methods: This descriptive type of cross-sectional study was carried out at four medical colleges over a period of one year from January 2021 to December 2021. Convenience sampling technique was adopted to select the medical colleges. A self administered pretested questionnaire was used to collect data from 200 purposively selected students who were present in the lecture or online classes on the day of data collection. The security factors were divided into: External Security Factors (Extracurricular activities, family & academic life problems, work and financial, social and environmental other problems, problem-solving skills) and Internal Security Factors (Students’ competence & aptitude, academic life, environmental security measurement, physical or mental expectation, learning barriers and modern technology threats). Results: Among the total 200 students 116 (58%) were male and 84 (42%) were female. Maximum (i.e. 95%) of students expect better social security both internal and external factor. Moreover the maximum students expressed their views regarding solving any internal and external problems and direction from their administration as highly expected when they were in social security problem and stress. Conclusion: Study recommended that the gap between the internal, external social security systems of students and the reality should be assessed meticulously and to be addressed to achieve quality of medical education outcome. The problem is vitally important today due to the fact that problem-modular training as an effective technology of engineering education should be integrated into the curriculum, however it is implemented in a few disciplines only. The paper is aimed at applying problem-based learning in modular and competence training of bachelor students majoring in engineering. This is meant to develop professional competences in bachelor students that would be adequate for the innovative economy thus putting emphasis on students' practical activity and evolving their engineering thinking. The design is particularly characterized by systematization of professional training challenges by standardization of production objectives and situations and offering proper solution using group learning methods. The contents of problem-based modules as applicable to bachelors' academic training is aligned with Federal and State Standards of Higher Professional Education in the Russian Federation in Radio Engineering as well as contents structuring by integrating a number of disciplines. The paper may represent interest for specialists involved in engineering training program design in accordance with the international European standards EUR-ACE aimed at achieving the following learning outcomes: engineering analysis, engineering design, research and practice.
