Feature point extraction using scale-space representation

Abstract: A n algorithm for feature point extraction i s presented. I t is based on a scale-space representation of the image as well as a system for tracking across scales. Using synthetic and real images, i t is shown that the proposed algorithm produces stable and well-localized feature points estimatestwo essential propaties for video applications.
