Background: Elderly mental health is an important topic of discussion to Brazilian public health because it involves factors related to the training of health professionals focused on these demands in the Family Health Strategy. Objectives:To make a similarity analysis about the training of the Family Health Strategy professionals for psychosocial care for the elderly. Methodology:Qualitative research carried out with 31 professionals from the Family Health Strategy in the city of Picos, Piauí, Brazil. Data were collected through a semi-structured interview script. The interviews were performed in a reserved room and recorded with the aid of an MP4 player. The data were processed by the IRAMUTEQ software and analyzed through similarity analysis that is based on graph theory. Results:The study participants were 13 doctors and 18 nurses, 27 (87.09%) were female. The training time of these professionals was comprised between 2 to 32 years of training and the duration of the Health Strategy from 1 year to 16 years. Resumen: Objetivo: Determinar el impacto de diferentes revistas especializadas en temas de familia alrededor del mundo, indexadas en Scopus y recogidas por el SJR, desde 1999 hasta el año 2018. Metodología: Las revistas seleccionadas se categorizaron según su contenido en cuatro grupos: revistas “médicas” que publican temas de salud familiar o salud reproductiva; revistas “sociales” que abordan a la familia desde lo legal, histórico o sociológico; revistas “psicológicas” que publican temas de familia desde la perspectiva de la psicología clínica, social o educativa y por último, el grupo de las revistas de “finanzas o económicas”, que abordan a la familia desde sus hábitos de consumo, economía familiar o estrategias de negocio. Para determinar su impacto este estudio valora: el factor de medición de prestigio SJR, el índice h y cantidad de citas por documento en los últimos dos años, a través del software R versión 3.6.1, mediante el paquete sjrdata versión 0.2.0. Resultados: en términos generales, las revistas más rankeadas son las del área de sociales, asimismo, las áreas médicas albergan la mayor cantidad de revistas. De otro lado, Estados Unidos y Reino Unido abarcan aproximadamente el 50 % de las revistas sobre familia en el mundo. Conclusiones: a través de esta investigación, diversos investigadores, especializados en el área de familia, podrán identificar las revistas más elegibles para publicar considerando su reputación e impacto académico.
