“…Most cases of metastatic papillary thyroid carcinoma should readily be excluded due to positive TTF-1 and thyroglobulin. surgical resection alone gives excellent results and adjuvant therapy may be of limited benefi t [ 7 ]. A Japanese immunohistochemical study of geminin and Ki-67, correlated to pathological T stage, lymphatic and blood vessel infi ltration, showed the expression of geminin to be strongly associated with poor prognosis.…”

“…Nodal metastasis is really uncommon at the time of diagnosis [26]. AcCC is less common in minor salivary glands and comprises only 9% according to SEER database [30]. AcCC of minor salivary glands mostly occur in buccal mucosa and upper lip in contrast to other types of minor salivary glands which mostly occur in palate [31,32].…”

“…The treatment modalities reported including surgical resection, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and combined therapies with variable results [3]. However, among all salivary gland cancers, HNACC has a relatively favourable prognosis [5]. It is worth noting that, based on some researchers' institutional experience, HNACC is classi ed as a low-grade cancer regardless of its clinicopathologic features [6].…”
