Attention deficit is one of the child ailments that most parents worry about. To shed light on this problem, the aim of this survey is to investigate the effects of 6-weeks regular table tennis education on the attention levels of school children. The research was carried out on 11 elementary school students (9.82 ± 2.23) who have never got table tennis education before. These children trained by basic table tennis exercises for 6weeks, two days a week. Bourdon Attention Test, developed by Bourdon (1955), was used before and 6weeks after starting table tennis training to determine children's attention levels. In order to measure the level of attention, the number of letters that were marked incorrectly and the number of letters not marked were counted. These data were analyzed with paired sample t test. As a result, it was found that 6-weeks of regular table tennis exercises significantly affected the number of not marked characters and affected the level of attention positively (p < 0.05). It was also found that the gender of the children and the type of school in which they were educated had no effect on this result.

Ibu, sebagai pengasuh utama anak, dapat mengalami stres pengasuhan yang kemudian berdampak pada menurunnya pengasuhan yang suportif kepada anak. Penelitianini bertujuan untukmenganalisis pengaruh penilaian negatif ibu mengenai Covid-19 terhadap hubungan antara stres pengasuhan dengan pengasuhan suportif.Desain penelitian ini adalah crossectional, dengan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan ibu yang memiliki anak berusia 2-18 tahun. Dengan teknik convenience sampling, diperoleh responden ibu sebanyak 272 orang, yang berusia 21-54 tahun (M=38,49, SD=6,59). Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan platform kuesioner online. Analisisregresi linear menunjukkan bahwa stres pengasuhan berpengaruh negatif terhadap pengasuhan suportif. Uji moderasi dengan Hayes PROCESS menunjukkan bahwa penilaian ibu mengenai dampak Covid-19 dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan dapat memperkuat hubungan negatif antara stres pengasuhan dan pengasuhan suportifpada kadar yang rendah, sedang, maupun tinggi. Dengan demikian, stres pengasuhan yang dialami ibu berdampak pada rendahnya pengasuhan suportif pada anak, dan pengasuhan suportif ibu akan lebih rendah apabila ibu menilai dirinya kesulitan memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga akibat pandemi.Berdasarkanhasil penelitian ini, diperlukan tindakan preventif untuk mencegah peningkatan stres pengasuhan ibu serta untuk mempertahankan penilaian positif ibu terhadap Covid-19 sebagai upaya meningkatkan pengasuhan yang suportif.

Why Is Rehabilitation Assistance Policy for Children With Disabilities Deviated in Supply-Demand? A Case Study in Mainland China

Children with disabilities have most potential for salvage rehabilitation, and their rehabilitation results are concerned with their entire life process. Although, the Chinese state has established a targeted Rehabilitation Assistance System for Disabled Children and has expanded the provision of rehabilitation services, a severe deviation between supply and demand remains. Existing studies have focused relatively more on policy content and less on the policy context, at the macro-structural level. However, using the case of the ZW Rehabilitation Center in City J, this study divided the deviation into exclusion errors and inclusion errors, and used the policy context approach to explore the reasons for the deviation. We found that the behaviors of the participants in rehabilitation services exist in a dynamic interaction between the regulatory context, the normative context, and the cognitive context. The joint forces of the three contexts produce both exclusion errors and inclusion errors, which are the underlying reasons for the inaccurate execution of the targeted policy. The results of this research can provide enlightenment for improving rehabilitation policy.
