Agriculture, rural areas, and farmers" have always been a focus of attention in China. Prioritizing the development of rural areas and agriculture, and comprehensively promoting rural revitalization is the primary task of China's current development. This article explores the factors affecting the willingness of rural migrant workers (RMWs) in northern Anhui Province to return to their hometowns for entrepreneurship through online questionnaires and offline surveys. The survey results show that, in terms of gender, male RMWs outnumber female ones, and the willingness of male RMWs to return to their hometowns for entrepreneurship is slightly higher than that of female ones. From the perspective of age, the willingness of RMWs for entrepreneurship in their hometowns shows a U-shaped trend with age. Among the surveyed samples, over 60% of migrant workers are married, but the willingness of unmarried RMWs for entrepreneurship is higher. Under the pressure of stable income sources for family needs, if the number of family members surveyed exceeds 5 people, their willingness to start a business is relatively low. The willingness of RMWs for entrepreneurship in their hometowns is positively correlated with their education level, but the difference is not significant.

Vegetables represent an important agricultural industry in China. New farmers and new technologies for vegetable production have emerged in recent years, which makes farmer training very necessary. On the other hand, massive open online courses (MOOCs) are currently widely used in universities. The purpose of this study is to investigate the importance of different sections of a university MOOC focused on olericulture to farmers with different demographic characteristics and provide a basis to improve university MOOCs for farmer training. The survey results suggest that the age, education level, gender, farmer scale, facility type and profit of farmer learners are important factors determining evaluations of the importance of different MOOC sections, indicating that services customized to different farmer populations are necessary. Among different sections of MOOC “Olericulture”, farmers with younger age, higher education, larger farm, more advanced facility and more profit were more interesting in sections include cultural, social and theoretical knowledge, and less interesting in practical skill sections. Based on the survey, eight new sections including one marketing subsection (new agricultural supplies and market news), one social subsection (laws and regulations), two practical subsections (practice videos, photos and videos from other farms), and three comprehensive subsections (discussion of practical issues, mechanization, and smart olericulture) were added to the original MOOC, and the results indicate that this improvement is efficient in enhancing the importance evaluations and profits of all farmer learners, especially among those with high education levels.

Graduate unemployment is one of the serious challenges in China, including the graduates of a large number of public and private higher education institutions. The collection of entrepreneurial employment education resources in colleges and universities is a basic project and a key link to promote the rapid development of education informatization. Data mining has various applications in different fields such as health care, smart agriculture, smart cities, smart businesses, and education, but is playing a vital role in the field of education and businesses. The applications of data mining provide new technical tools and development directions to realize the common construction, sharing, and collection of entrepreneurial employment education resources in colleges and universities. The closed nature of teaching resources within colleges and universities leads to the inability of external search engines to search them, which hinders the search and access of teachers and students and seriously affects the smooth implementation of current innovation and entrepreneurship employment work. Aiming at the real demand of entrepreneurial employment education resource collection in colleges and universities and the characteristics of on-campus resources, this study proposes a data mining-based algorithm for entrepreneurial employment education resource collection in colleges and universities. The algorithm obtains entrepreneurial employment demands from the academic affairs system, collects on-campus online teaching resources through internal crawlers, and provides services for teachers, students, and employees through online teaching resource collection drive subalgorithm and quick recommendation subalgorithm. We also compared the proposed model with the CLR model. The case analysis and performance experiments show that the proposed algorithm has a good resource mining effect, high user satisfaction, and high recommendation efficiency, occupies fewer system resources, and shows high performance as compared to the CLR model.
