Factors affecting the women's empowerment in disaster risk governance structure in Sri Lanka

Abstract: Women have been disproportionately affected by disasters due to their vulnerabilities and low coping capacities. Increasing trend of natural disasters demands innovative and effective disaster risk reduction and resilience mechanisms to minimize their disproportionate effects from future disasters.
