“…Although the P4 level was significantly higher in the Chronogest ® CR compared to the Eazibreed™ CIDR ® G group, the percentage of ewes that lambed to first service period was not different between treatment groups. According to Bari et al (2003) fertility was not increased with elevated P4 levels. Also regarding litter size, no significant association was found with the P4 level on Day 14 in this study.…”

“…This finding implies that nulliparous ewes either had a higher fertilization rate or less embryo loss when compared to pluriparous ewes. In this context Bari et al (2003) found the highest embryo survival rate in yearling recipients used in a MOET program what they explained by the absence of uterine problems caused by previous pregnancies. The high fertility of nulliparous ewes to first service period also demonstrate that a 6-day progestagen priming is sufficient in these animals when seasonal breeding is performed.…”

“…It is well known that the pregnancy rates could be influenced by the quality and developmental stages of transferred embryos (Sağırkaya and Bağış, 2003;Vajta et al, 1998). Bari et al (2003) compared viability of frozen-thawed sheep embryos collected at 5 th and 6 th days of oestrus. They found that the blastocyst stage embryos were collected at 6 th days had higher viability rates than the morula stage embryos collected at 5 th day.…”

“…Research Article 151 Bari et al, 2003;Birler et al, 2010). However, the success of these technologies are largely related to the success of oocyte maturation, sperm DNA integrity, fertilization, embryo culture and cryopreservation of the oocyte and embryos in vitro (Akal and Selçuk, 2013;Boland et al, 2001).…”

“…Bu amaçla kullanılan yöntemlerden birisi MOET (Çoklu yumurtlatma ve embriyo transferi) yöntemi-dir [2][3][4] . Türkiye'nin kendi koşullarına ve yetiştiricinin taleplerine uygun, Türkiye'de yetişmiş ve seçilmiş boğalardan elde edilecek spermayı kendi üretecek duruma gelebilmesi bunun da en kısa sürede ve ucuz bir şekilde yapıla-…”
