“…A escala global, entre los trastornos más recurrentes se destaca el estrés postraumático (TEPT), estimándose una prevalencia de 10 a 20% en población general, y entre 30 a 40% en víctimas directas (Goldman & Galea, 2014). Para Chile, la prevalencia general es de 4,4%, manifestándose el 2,5% en hombres y 6,2% en mujeres (Zlotnick et al, 2006); sin embargo, esta prevalencia puede presentar variaciones entre grupos y tipo de peligro natural, sean estudiantes universitarios ante un aluvión (Lería Dulčić & Salgado Roa, 2016), jóvenes escolares ante un megaincendio (Guerra et al, 2018) o mujeres de bajos ingresos bajo ante un terremototsunami (Leiva-Bianchi, Candia, & Montecino, 2014).
