“…As noted previously, since the supported PMo 12 has strong interactions with the surface of MnFe 2 O 4 , the structure of POM remains unaltered after the reactions. After the creation of peroxometallic intermediates by electrophilic reactions with H 2 O 2, [36][37][38][39] therefore, they can oxidize adsorbed sulfur compounds in the same reaction as well. The resulted polar DBTO/DBTO 2 species could then abandon the oil phase and transfer to the water phase via extraction solvent (ACL).…”

“…The XRD pattern of Cu‐SB complex showed sharp peaks in the range 2 θ = 10° ̶ 20° indicating the crystalline nature of Cu‐SB complex ( Figure a ) . The presence of a broad peak in the XRD pattern of PANI at 2 θ = 26.1° along with two low intensity bands at 20.1° and 15.2° corresponding to (200), (020) and (011) planes, confirmed the formation of emeraldine salt form of PANI ( Figure b ) . In the XRD pattern of catalyst Cu‐SB/PANI ( Figure c ) , characteristic peaks for both Cu‐SB and PANI were present, thus establishing the formation of the desired catalytic system.…”
