“…It has been demonstrated that a stronger photocurrent signal indicates that more electrons are produced and separated. 57,71–76 Notably, 10CN/BWO obtains the highest photocurrent density (∼0.252 μA cm −2 ), which is approximately 4.14 and 9.95 times greater than that of BWO (∼0.049 μA cm −2 ) and CN (∼0.023 μA cm −2 ), respectively, confirming the highly efficient charge separation and transfer of the CN/BWO heterojunction.…”

“…As shown in Supporting Information File 1 , Figure S3, the XPS survey spectrum of the 70%−Bi 2 WO 6 /TiO 2 -NT nanocomposite only displays the signals of Ti, O, Bi, and W. The high-resolution XPS spectrum of the Bi 4f region ( Figure 5a ) shows two peaks at 164.1 and 158.8 eV, which are indexed to the binding energies of Bi 4f 5/2 and Bi 4f 7/2 , respectively, proving the existence of Bi(III) in Bi 2 WO 6 [ 44 ]. The high-resolution XPS spectrum of the W 4f region ( Figure 5b ) represents the spin – orbit split lines of W 4f 5/2 and W 4f 7/2 at 36.7 and 34.9 eV, respectively, indicating the existence of W(VI) in Bi 2 WO 6 [ 45 ]. As displayed in Figure 5c , there are two peaks at 464.1 and 458.3 eV that are attributed to the binding energies of Ti 2p 1/2 and Ti 2p 3/2 in the high-resolution XPS spectrum of the Ti 2p region [ 46 ], which show a distance of 5.8 eV.…”

“…8c, the spectral absorption range of the prepared sample was analyzed by UV-Vis DRS. With the increase of PDI-Ala content, red shift of the absorption edge of PDI-Ala/S-C3N4 composites increases gradually, indicating that the heterojunction is successfully formed 65 . It has a strong response to almost full-range visible light, which greatly improves the solar energy utilization rate of the composite photocatalyst, and effectively generates more photogenerated carriers.…”
