“…We made films with substrate temperatures from 150 up to 270 o C. As already published [9] the crystal size for a film deposited at about 225 0 C are about 30 nm, and it depends linearly on deposition temperature with a rate of 0.12 nm/ o C. The stoichiometry of the obtained films were investigated by EDS, as presented in Figure 2. Note that the spectrum presents well defined peaks of lead and iodine, besides revealing also the presence of silicon detected from the substrate.…”

“…The experimental method was discussed in detail in another work [9]. The temperature controlled substrates (corning glass) are introduced into a chamber, which is vacuum pumped.…”

“…In all the thin films, the best fit was obtained for n = 2, corresponding to direct allowed transition. From the plot of (αhν) 2 vs. E, the Tauc plot, a straight line is extrapolated to E-axis giving the value of E g . The bandgap values were 2.43 and 2.36 eV for samples DT35 and SS6000, respectively.…”

“…Lead iodide (PbI 2 ) belongs to the layered semiconductor family, and is a widely studied semiconductor for various applications such as X-ray detectors [1], medical imaging [2], nuclear detection [3] and photosensitivity semiconductormetal applications [4]. It has also been used as a precursor for obtaining the methylammonium lead iodide perovskite-based solar cell [5], one of the highest solution-processed solar cells reported so far.…”

“…de filmes e cristais, um dos métodos de deposição de filmes finos a ser utilizado é o spray pyrolysis [37,38]. Este sistema utiliza um bico que forma um spray que é direcionado para uma placa aquecida.…”
