Recently, the development of antitumor drugs has been gradually transformed from cytotoxic drugs to develop new targeted drugs and low toxicity with high specificity drugs. In this study, amygdalin ZnO-Nps were synthesized by adding plant extract and exhibited as white pellet, then characterized by UV-Vis. Spectroscopy which showed an absorption peak at 261 nm, and Scanning Electron Microscope were exhibited size of the nano particle ranged between (20.00−30.26) nm and aggregated as helical shape. While Atomic Force Microscope showed the 2D and 3D of nanoparticles with size of 13.2 nm. The percentage of decreasing viability was increasedwithincreased the concentration, and the IC 50 values of the MCF7 and WRL cells were 121.9 and 43.6 µg/mL respectively. Amygdalin Zno-NPs inhibited proliferation of MCF7 and PC3 cells in a dose-dependent manner. The data demonstrate that amygdalin exerted cytotoxic effect on MCF7 as well as PC3 cells. Treatment with amygdalin induced caspase-9 activation, and induced apoptosis of cancer cells mediated by endogenous mitochondrial pathway, and the significant induction was at 200 µg/ml. In addition, it induced cell membrane permeability, cytochrome-C and total nuclear intensity significantly at 200 µg/ml.

Özet: Bu çalışmada, n-tipi çinko oksit/p-tipi silisyum (n-ZnO/p-Si) heteroeklem güneş hücresinin verimliliği üzerinde çinko oksit (ZnO) kaplama miktarının etkisi incelendi. ZnO nanoparçacıklar sol-jel yöntemi ile sentezlendi. Sentezlenen nanoparçacıklar, döndürerek kaplama metodu kullanılarak cam alttaşlar ve p-Si alttaşlar üzerine kaplandı. Kaplama işlemi, 2, 4, 5 ve 15 kat olarak farklı miktarlarda gerçekleştirildi. Kaplama işleminden sonra, ince film kaplı alttaşlar, kare bir fırın içerisine konuldu ve 500 o C de 30 dk tavlandı. Yapı karakterizasyonu ve yüzey morfolojisi, X-ışını kırınımı metodu (X-ray diffraction; XRD) ve taramalı elektron mikroskobu (scanning electron microscopy; SEM) kullanılarak analiz edildi. Her bir n-ZnO/p-Si heteroeklem güneş hücresi yapısı için, kısa devre akımı (Isc) ve açık devre voltajı (Voc) elektriksel ölçümler ile tespit edildi ve verimlilik () hesapları yapıldı. Tüm işlemler oda sıcaklığında gerçekleştirildi. Yapılan bu çalışmaya göre, güneş hücrelerinin verimi, kritik bir kalınlığa kadar, ZnO kaplama miktarının artışı ile artmakta, kritik kalınlık aşıldığında (daha fazla ZnO kaplama yapıldığında) da düşmektedir. Buradan, ZnO kaplama miktarının (ZnO tabaka kalınlığının) güneş hücrelerinin performansını etkileyen önemli bir parametre olduğu sonucuna varıldı.

In this study, we prepared PSi using the laser-assisted electrochemical etching method and deposited Gallium nitride (GaN) on the PSi substrate using the pulsed laser technique at different pulsed laser wavelengths (1064, 532, and 355 nm). We investigated the optical, structural, topographical, and morphological properties of Gallium Nitride on the substrate PSi by various pulsed laser wavelengths. The X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed that gallium nitride on PSi was polycrystalline and hexagonal, cubic structural at 532 nm, with a high peak intensity and crystallite size at 2θ=36.96°and 57.80 related to (101) and (110) planes, respectively, while the c-GaN phase is observed at 2θ = 25.43 degrees and is reflected from the (200) plane. PL shows two emission peaks were observed for the GaN film (430,345,413 nm) and the PSi substrate (867,891,876 nm), and the energy gap increased as the wavelength decreased. The field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) pictures revealed that the synthetic sample had an average size of 24.45, 23.91, and 21.30 nm, and the nanoparticles appeared spherical and similar to cauliflower. The atomic force microscopy (AFM) results showed that the average roughness was 7.62, 10.64, and 13.62 nm, respectively, and it was observed the root mean square increased as a result of the uniform distribution of high-quality crystals and the excellent quality of the crystal structure. The UV-Visible (UV) results showed that the transmission decreased with a decrease in wavelength, and the absorption was inversely proportional to the transmission.
