Eye movement parameters for performance evaluation in projection-based stereoscopic display

Abstract: The current study applied Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze the relationship among index of difficulty (ID) and parallax on eye movement time (EMT), fixation duration (FD), time to first fixation (TFF), number of fixation (NF), and eye gaze accuracy (AC) simultaneously. EMT, FD, TFF, NF, and AC were measured in the projection-based stereoscopic display by utilizing Tobii eye tracker system. SEM proved that ID had significant direct effects on EMT, NF, and FD also a significant indirect effect on NF… Show more

“…Therefore, a revised SEM was derived by removing this hypothesis. Following some of our previous studies that utilized the SEM approach (Lin et al, 2018(Lin et al, , 2019bMiraja et al, 2019), some modification indices were applied to enhance the model fit. Figure 4 demonstrates the final SEM for evaluating the perceived effectiveness of COVID-19 prevention measures during ECQ in Luzon, Philippines, and Table 4 demonstrates the descriptive statistic results of each indicator.…”

“…The study produced CB-SEM fit indices integrated with the maximum likelihood approach to generate the necessary results. CB-SEM fit indices were segmented into Incremental Fit Index (IFI), Tucker Lewis Index (TLI), and Comparative Fit Index (CFI) [ 42 , 46 , 47 ]. Additionally, the goodness of fit was measured through Goodness of Fit Index (GFI) and Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index (AGFI) [ 42 , 46 , 47 ].…”

“…There are four main indicators of the dependent variables measured in the experiment [9]:  Fixation count: the number of points of gaze on a certain area. The relative resting state of the eye between two eye jumps is called fixation, and one fixation is one fixation point.…”
