Aim. The aim of the article is to define the possibilities of education in the concept of postmetaphysical thinking. The definition takes into account the need to understand education as an open process of developing an authentic personality. The new understanding of education helps to orient the educational process in the family and school towards the person of the pupil and the development of his real possibilities. Concept. The article is built around a comparison of metaphysical and post-metaphysical thought. It describes the fundamental differences between both types of thinking, with a focus on the importance of others and openness in the interpretation of fundamental pedagogical categories. Attention is paid to the understanding of the pupil, the teacher, the process of education, and the goal of education. The pupil is interpreted as a person who has individual and original abilities. The process of education is understood as the development of the individual abilities of the pupil. The objective of education is determined on the basis of the pupil's abilities. The aim of upbringing is not predetermined. The openness of pedagogical practice necessitates the openness to continuous updating of educational and training methods. Results and conclusion. Creation of a basic framework for the innovation of pedagogical practices. The proposed framework views pedagogical success as a means of finding a sense of self, leaves room for alternative solutions, and emphasises the importance of students' individual abilities. It allows for pedagogy based on acceptance of otherness. Through the pedagogy thus interpreted, it creates a path for creative solutions to educational problems while developing not only the individual abilities of students but also their capacity for tolerance, which is a prerequisite for the functioning of a democratic society, through the pedagogy thus interpreted. Cognitive value. The article presents problems that arise when using classical pedagogy, i.e. pedagogy based on metaphysical thinking. The aim of classical pedagogy is the passive passing of knowledge and the production of graduates with the same abilities and knowledge. Pedagogy based on a postmetaphysical approach educates pupils whose value is based on human nature. Each pupil is accepted according to his individual abilities. He is an original and authentic human being.

The article substantiates the urgency of the problem of ecology, environmental protection, development of environmental awareness of the world population. Environmental education is a process that should be implemented at each level of education. It is proved that public awareness of environmental protection is an important element in the process of globalization. The increasing amount of waste caused also by the COVID-19 pandemic creates many threats to the environment. The authors believe that continuous increasing of human awareness is possible by means of staff, teachers, vocational training, and the various information campaigns implementation. The use of unmanned aerial vehicles can support activities conducted by schools or other educational institutions dealing with ecological issues in Poland. Through specialized functionalities, drones can effectively show the existing threats to the natural environment. This type of activity may contribute to the visualization of pollution, fires, floods, or other dangerous environmental phenomena. It is emphasized that photos or videos data can be used in the general education system. The possibilities of primary and general secondary education in the formation of ecological knowledge and skills of children and youth are determined. The analysis of the content of the curriculum for Polish schools, including lessons in geography, biology, technology, chemistry, ethics, basics of entrepreneurship, and others, on their environmental orientation was carried out. Emphasis is placed on the necessity to improve teachers’ skills, their non-formal education by means of environmental seminars, training, workshops, etc.

Self-Assessment and EFL Literature Students' Oral Reproduction of Short Stories

The purpose of the current study is to investigate self-assessment as a helpful strategy for facilitating teaching and learning in language classrooms and to investigate the effects of this technique on EFL learners' oral performance. To achieve the purpose of the study and answer the research questions, a quasi-experimental study was conducted. The participants of the study were a group of five EFL learners who were called self-assessment. The self-assessment technique was incorporated to this group. There were a pretest and posttest sessions and four sessions of treatment between the pretest and posttest. The instruments used in this study were storyboards and checklists. The data was collected via a recording device and then it was transcribed for further analysis. Paired sample T-test was used to analyze the quantitative data and for the qualitative analysis, the data on the checklist and students' self-assessment reports were used. The data on the checklist also helped to find the extent to which learners have improved in fluency in their own ideas through self-assessment. The findings of the present study showed self-assessment was helpful in improving Error free clause (p = 0.031) meaning self-assessment group made significant improvement in this feature. Considering the three other features, the comparison of pre-and posttest scores also showed a significant difference which approved effectiveness of the related treatment. The qualitative analysis of the students' selfassessment report also revealed that students found it as a helpful technique to monitor themselves and reflect on their own work.
