“…In a previous work (Rodríguez‐López et al, 2020) it was demonstrated that CSL contains sporulated Bacillus bacteria that are able to produce BS spontaneously in CSL during the steeping process. The BS contained in CSL was identified by Rodríguez‐López et al (2020) as a lipopeptide composed of fatty acids (C16‐Methyl palmitate and C18‐1n9Cis‐9‐Oleic acid methyl ester/ trans‐9‐elaidic acid methyl ester) and amino acids (glutamic acid/glutamine, aspartic acid/asparagine, glycine, alanine, arginine, proline, and leucine/isoleucine). Moreover, in this BS extract the presence of phospholipids compatible with phosphatidylethanolamine and phosphatidylcholine were also detected, these were separated and purified by Rodríguez‐López et al (2020).…”

In addition, the BS producer strain in CSL was isolated in a previous work, being characterized as an endospore‐forming Bacillus strain, similar to Bacillus mycoides (López‐Prieto et al, 2019a).…”
