Abstract: Xeroderma Pigmentosum Group G (XPG) is one of the proteins involved in nucleotide excision repair, and is related to Xeroderma pigmentosum, a rare hereditary disease characterized by hypersensitivity to ultraviolet light, high incidence of actinic carcinomas and neurological abnormalities.
